This site is devoted to the history, tradition, philosophy, techniques and evolving theories of classical Japanese and Asian budo, or "martial ways." So kick back and browse through our web site.As for our print magazine, things are finally get unstuck, as we are now working furiously (well, relatively speaking) at getting issue 11 out after a very, very long hiatus. Be prepared for some kick butt information in stories that include karate pioneer Walter Nishioka, the origins of kendo in Hawaii, a lengthy and very, very interesting piece on Ellis Amdur by Dave Lowry , and more stuff than you can shake your bo at.
