 It's been a while, but we've
added a new story for all you rabid Dave Lowry fans. From
Furyu #10, we have the article he wrote, "Confessions
of a Navy SEAL." Enjoy. And if you are a real Dave Lowry
fan, support him by buying his books, subscribing to Furyu, or
sending him money, or whatever you can send him that's legal!
For you newbies, here's a recap
on how this site got started. I've been a big fan of Dave Lowry's
writings, even before I got to know him as a good friend. Well,
after I launched Furyu the Budo Journal, and subsequently
Furyu Online, I always
wanted to go on and profile my pal Dave in some way. He's been
so prolific and so popular in his martial arts writing that I
felt he deserved his own site, if only to archive some of the
stories that many of you may or may not have read before.
So about a year ago, I broached
the idea to him, and he very graciously sent me some material
that might be posted up on our site. It took me this long to
finally get around to it, but here it is. I don't have much yet
transferred to HTML and posted up yet, but in the months to come,
I hope to develop this as a handy site for all the fans of Dave
Lowry.
Please bear with us as we build
this site up slowly, piece by piece. We enjoyed putting it together,
and we certainly hope you will enjoy what we will offer in the
months to come. On behalf of Dave, Tengu Press and myself, we
